Brookenby Parish Council  currently meets on the first Tuesday of  every  month. The meetings are in public and usually start at 7:00pm at The Community Centre. There is always an opportunity for parishioners to speak about agenda items at these meetings.

The council has many functions and activities including:

  • Representing the village at local government level.
  • Reviewing planning applications, material to the fabric of our village and reporting back to West Lindsey District Council.
  • Liaison with Lincolnshire County Council in respect of highways and pavements.
  • Managing and maintaining the village assets such as The Community Centre, playing fields and the land owned by the council. 

 

 Brookenby Parish Council is not empowered to enforce planning regulations or intervene in disputes between individuals or groups of individuals.

Brookenby Parish Council does not have any enforcement powers and matters requiring enforcement should be refered to West Lindsey District Council or, if the threat poses an immediate threat to life and limb or damage to property, the Police.
